PIT APPLICATIQnI, RIF3E, COII~tADO
Gene Byrne has inspected the gravel pit and feels that there will
be no vcpact on wildlife in the arE'a. ~e pit will be an exparLSion
of an existing operation.
~e oon~ny has stockpiled the existing topsoil which they plan
to replace around the pit when mining ceases. ~e stance,-r~ 3:1
tu~derwater slope and 2;1 waterline to gzotmd level slope should
be inwrporated along with adequate seeding to stabilize the soil,
There is a batch plant at the site so developrent of a wildlife
area would not be,practical for the near future. We have not
received a formal reclamation plan and map as of this date.
~~79
cc: Steele
Byrne
E3JC
r
~ DOW~A-H

~ ~
STATE OF COLORADO
DIVISION OF WILDLIFE
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES

DATE:
