• Additional berm and ditch maintenance required. Berm heights were increased at <br />several locations and sediment removed from ditches to restore capacity. <br />• Additional maintenance required on several road outlets. Additional riprap was <br />placed to stop minor downcutting. <br />Third quarterly inspection -August 4 through 6. Site in general compliance with <br />several maintenance items noted. <br />• Two culverts were plugged due to the July 27 storm. Backup runoff control had <br />adequately controlled the runoff with little sign of erosion. One culvert was <br />cleaned and the other replaced. <br />• Two road outlets were relocated to locations that aze more appropriate and would <br />require less maintenance. <br />• Several sumps, ditches, sediment checks, culverts, etc. were cleaned out and <br />maintained. <br />• Some downcutting noted on several road outlets. Additional riprap was placed in <br />appropriate locations. <br />Fourth quarterly inspection -November 18 through 20. <br />• Several culverts needed to be cleaned out. Sediment had accumulated in the <br />culverts due to the natural bed-loads of undisturbed channels. Sediment was <br />removed below the culverts so they could flush out once they receive runoff. <br />• Additional filter rock was placed in the sediment sump between Transfer Station <br />#2 and Slot Storage. <br />Other items of significance during 1998 include the cleaning out and enlazgement of <br />sediment ponds servicing refuse pits 2/3 and 4. <br />
