McAtee, President <br />Sterling Ready-Mix Concrete Company <br />Sterling, Colorado 80751 <br />Re: Riverside Pit Technical Revision <br />Our File No. 76-56 <br />Dear Mr. McAtee: <br />I have reviewed your request for technical revisions to the <br />above-referenced permit. These technical revisions will be presented to <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Board at the Nlarch 23-24, 1983 meeting. To <br />allow for review time by the staff, please address the following issues <br />in detail prior to March 15, 1983. <br />Technical Revision No. 1 <br />~- ~ Point "B" of your February 15, 1983 letter mentions "Withdraw <br />approximately U.91 +/_ acres from the southwestern corner of old <br />\1D Stage II and ...". Was this supposed to be the "northwestern <br />corner? If not, please address the area in the "northwestern" <br />corner of old Stage II, as shown on the map which accompanied your <br />letter. <br />t- <br />~ ~ Point "H" of your February 15, 1983 letter +nentions "Relocate <br />~\~ bridge .., approximately 660 feet north of the south property <br />line." What is the reasoning behind and the purpose for moving <br />this bridge from its present location? <br /> <br />Technical Revision No. 2 <br />In the document approved by the Board in 1916, the two lakes <br />~ (Marjorie and Robert) totalled 32.65 acres.
