1 <br />' 2.16 <br />Truck Loading/Unloading Area <br /> Truck loading/unloadingaddvesses the procedures used to fill the fuel storage tanks and <br />' the mobile equipment whether on or off road. The following procedures aze to be used <br /> for these activities. <br />' Vendor loading procedures are as follows: <br />t 1. No smoking or use of any other Flammable materials in the vicinity of the <br /> containment area. <br />' 2. Check to confirm that appropriate spill response equipment is available prior <br /> to vendor loading. <br />' 3. Measure liquid level in tank by gage or stick. <br /> 4. Fuel truck hooks up to the tank at the fill port. The grounding wire is attached <br />' to discharge static electricity buildup. <br /> ~. A visualindicatoris within site of the driver. <br />' <br /> 6. Drains and outlets on tank trucks are checked for leakage before unloading or <br /> departure. The delivery drivers are expected to be trained in this procedure by <br />' their employers. When the storage tanks are loaded, the driver chocks the <br /> truck wheels prior to off-loading and remove the chocks only afro <br /> ascertaining that no lines are lefr connected to the unloading apparatus. <br />' <br /> Off and on road equipment/vehicle fueling procedures are: <br />' 1. No Smoking. <br /> 2. Stop on loading area. <br /> <br /> 3. Stop motor. <br />' 4. Unlock fuel hose by key control. <br />' S. Place fuel hose in vehicle. <br /> 6. Turn pump handle on. <br /> 7.
