Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br /> November 9, 1973 <br /> page 3 <br /> during the hearing before the Weld County Commissioners for <br /> a requested change of zoning in order to allow the special use <br /> permit, Best-Way Paving Co. set forth its reclamation plan as <br /> being one which would provide for a park for the citizens in <br /> the area. In the plan which they have submitted to this Board, <br /> they now intend to reclaim the land for the purpose of agriculture. <br /> It is interesting to question how they intend to make the area <br /> accessible for agriculture when they intend to have 3-1 slopes <br /> along the east, west and south perimeters of the site. My <br /> clients would further set forth that Best-Way Paving Co. ' s <br /> reclamation plans are couched in vague generalities with con- <br /> ditional promsises and statements by Best-Way Paving Co. without <br /> a specific commitment by the Company to reclaim in any set <br /> fashion. Nor, does Best-Way Paving Co. ever purport confirma- <br /> tion that it is conforming to Rule 6.
