The Bent Soil Conservation District specified this
mix in their correspondence of December 11, 1998. A copy of this
' correspondence follows Table E in this Exhibit. Recommendations given in the
i
' letter will be followed as described with regard to method of seeding, seeding
dates, fertilization, and follow-up maintenance for weed control by mowing.
Mowing will be performed for at least two years after seeding. Seeded areas will
' not be mulched with a straw or hay mulch, as no large areas will be exposed to
wind or rain erosion.
Both the North Mining Area and South Borrow Pit Area will be topsoiled and
revegetated in the same manner as described previously.
' Wetland vegetation will naturally invade the shoreline areas of the lake created
by mining of the North Mining Area. Cattails, sedges, and willows will establish
themselves fairly rapidly once the shoreline is created and no further disturbance
' occurs.
' 23
