2.03.7 Relationshia to Areas Designated Unsuitable for Mining
The area of the proposed activity is not partially or wholly within an area designated
unsuitable for surface coal mining operations under Rule 7 or 30 CFR 764; neither aze the
lands under consideration for designation in an administrative proceeding under Rule 7 or
30 CFR 764 and 765.
2.03.8 Permit Term Information
Surface coal mining operations began in the first quarter of 1983 and subsequently ceased
operating temporarily pending more economical coal markets. No further coal mining
will occur at the Cazbon Junction Mine under this permit. All remaining activities will be
directed towazd reclamation of the existing disturbance related to surface coal mining
activities.
2.03.9 Personal Iniurv and Insurance Information
OEI maintains insurance in an amount no less than that required by current CDMG
regulations. A revised copy of the current insurance policy binder is forwarded to the
Division upon each renewal.
