<br />3.8 Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Plan <br />In order to achieve competent construction of the clay liner fill and embankments, the fill <br />material will be field and laboratory tested for moisture and dry density requirements as <br />described in this document. Fill material wiN be tested for moisture content requirements <br />every 500 cubic yards on embankment samples, as determined by the Engineer. <br />Samples taken from the embankment will be obtained every 5,000 cubic yards and <br />tested for appropriate moisture~ensity relationships, determined by the Standard <br />Proctor test as described in ASTM D-698. Material that does not meet the moisture and <br />dry density requirements will be rewortced until these requirements are obtained. The <br />test samples will be reported to the Engineer. <br />A quality assurance firm, chosen by the Applicant, will monitor the CQA Plan for this <br />project site.
