1 <br /> <br />I 1 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />41k-AB Kiin Soils <br />1-9% Slopes <br />pH: 7.9-8.4 <br />Permeability: .6-2.0 in/hr <br />Kim soils are deep, yell drained soils found on gentle slopes. They formed in <br />loamy parent material derived mostly from sandstone. The surface horizon, about 5 <br />inches thick, is light brownish gray loam. The subsurface horizon is a pale brown <br />loam about 16 inches in depth. The substratum is very pale brevrn loam to about <br />58 inches in depth. Sandstone bedrock then underlies this, to various depths. <br />' SuBD Samsil-Shale Outcrop Comolex <br />1-9`/ Slopes <br />pH: 7.9-9.0 <br /> Samsil soils are clayey, shallovr soils found in the plains area. They have a light <br />' brownish gray clay loan surface horizon about 2 inches thick. The subsurface horizon <br /> about 9 inches thick, is light yellovrish brovrn heavy clay loam containing gypsum <br />' crystals. The substratu m consists of olive brown gypsiferous clay. <br /> htI-B Nunn Cla y Loain 0-9% Slopes <br />' pH: 7.4-8.4 <br /> Permeability: .6-2.0 in/hr <br />t Nunn soils are deep and yell drained. They are on the uplands, developed in <br />clay loam derived from the outvrash of sandstone. The surface {iorizon, about <br />7 inches thick, is grayish brovrn friable clay loam. The subsoil horizon, vrhich <br />extends to about 23 inches, is brovrn, firm clay loam. The substratum is pale brovrn <br />loam to 60 inches or more. <br />' TsBD-Travessilla Sandy Loam <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />LJ <br />1-9% Slopes <br />pH: 7.4-8.4 <br />Permeability: 2-6 in/hr <br />Travessilla soils are shallow and excessively yell-drained found on stony and rocky <br />gentle slopes. They :•;er°e formed as outvrash in sandstone parent materials. The <br />surface horizon, about 5 inches thick, is light brownish gray sandy loam vrith <br />varying amounts of stone fragments. The subsurface scil horizon is pale brovrn <br />sandy loam about 19 inches thick.
