Thus, these species aie virtually unaffected by mining <br />within the proposed permit area. <br />Raptors <br />• No further disturbance of raptors is ezpected. Pealing sites <br />located in aspen were not affected by mining. The impact most <br />likely to have occurred is the temporary destruction of hunting <br />habitat. IIpon successful reclamation, the habitat for rap[ora rill <br />be enhanced due to increases in overall prey densities. <br />IIpland Game Birds <br />Since blue grouse numbers in the. permit and adjacent areas are <br />small due to the absence of coniferous vegetation, the impacts on <br />this species are minimal.
