Mew disturbance of the natural vegetation will be <br />limited to the 5.3 acre topsoil removal tract west of the Middle <br />Creek Mine highwall. <br />The reclamation plan developed for gnergy Nine No. 3 .is <br />designed to return the entire disturbed area to the premining land <br />• uses of pastureland and cropland. Plant species selected for the <br />perennial seed mizturea will provide an abundance of nutritious <br />forage that greens up earlier in the spring than native rangeland <br />vegetation. The forage value of the species included in the <br />proposed seed miatures is discussed under Bule 2.05.4(2)(e). <br />Changes in Topography <br />Implementation of the backfilling and grading activities <br />described under Rule 2.05.4(2)(c) will produce a landscape closely <br />resembling the premine topographic features.
