• Creek and Middle Creek. No alternative land uses are proposed in <br />this permit application. <br />The proposed land uses are consistent with the current and <br />projected land use and zoning patterns in 8outt County (Boutt County <br />Master plan, 1980). Fo zoning changes are recomended or <br />anticipated for the permit area after mining, The proposed <br />postmining land use categories conform with historic land uses <br />ezisting on the permit and adjacent areas, <br />The capacity of reclaiaed land within the proposed permit area <br />to support a variety of alternative uses is eatremely limited. A <br />change in land use is unlikely due to the scarcity of eater, short <br />• growing season, remoteness from population centers and current <br />socioeconomic trends. Land use changes in or adjacent to the <br />proposed permit area are also restricted by the Boutt County Land <br />Dse Master Plan, which designates the Tventymile Park area as <br />"agricultural" for the present and foraeeable future. The historic <br />uses of pastureland and cropland are clearly the moat feasible <br />poatmining land uses. <br />Paetmining Grazing Management Plan <br />Once revegetated stands are adequately established, a detailed <br />grazing management plan will be implemented. The livestock <br />• management program will be instituted no later than the last tro <br />2.05 - 104 <br />
