All reclamation would be done according to the specifi- <br />• <br />cations of the surface management agency, the Eureau of Land ;Sanagement. <br />Pretiininary reclamation on the area could be considered complete when <br />the disturbed lands nave been backfilled, graded, contoured, and <br />seeded. Complete reclamation ~oould be Cohen the area is restored to <br />its present productivity and suitable for the existing land uses, <br />which are wildlife habitat, livestock grazing, and dispersed recreation. <br />This may require up to five years beyond mine life to achieve complete <br />reclamation. Initial growth can be expected during and after the <br />first growing season of reclaimed sites. <br />If leased, the successful lessee would have to comply with all <br />federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the develop- <br />went, operation, and abandonment of the mine, environmental protection <br />and safety. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: <br />1. Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended <br />2. Federal-Coat Leasing Amendments Act of 1976 .- <br />3. Federal Lands Policy and Management Act of 1976.-: <br />4.
