• EXHIBIT D •
Wildlife
A letter from Bob Clark, Senior Wildlife Biologist; along with The Mined Land Wildlife
Statement/Evaluation for Limited Impact and Select Regular Mine Applications is enclosed
for Exhibit D.
EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plan
As The Soil Conservation Service report indicates, revegitation can only be accomplished
on those areas where topsoil exists. We x111 follow the Soil Conservation Service guide-
lines for reclamation at the end of our operation. Portals x111 be secured by back-
filling them twenty feet insuring no entry. The gate will be locked with two tumbler
locks and hoods over them.
Soil in the pit and the loading facility area will be saved and stored in the end of the
pit to be used when reclamation is done. At the earliest opportunity upon final aban-
doment of the Deep Creek Placer Mine, reclamation activity will begin. Litter, srrap,
and debris will be disposed of at a county dump. What topsoil there is will be respread
on as much of the affected area as soil availability permits. There is very little soil
in the pit. After seeding the mulch x111 be of straw. B-Mining Company will do the
reclamation with our own men and equipment. We will take all necessary measures to pro-
tect or improve the integrity of the area.
EXHIBIT F
Proof of Compliance With Local Government Zoning
A letter from San tdiguel County Planning Commission, San 14iguel County Road and Bridge
Department, and a letter from The State of Colorado Department of Highways.
EXHIBIT G
Source of Legal Right-to-Enter
Statement of Ownership
EXHIBIT H
Reclamation Costs
All areas that must be seeded are stable; we have no slope gradient that even comes close
to 2:1 slope. We will follow the Soil Conservation Service recommendations.
In calculating the cost of reclamation it will be noted that we will use our own mining
equipment loaders, tractors, etc. We will vse a harrow, etc, to prepare the seedbed,
using the men at the mine to help complete the seeding, therefore the ma3or cost will be
seed, straw and fertilizer, which we feel can be accomplished for less than $2500.00.
Therefore we are asking for our bond to be set at $2,000.00.
(3
C~~
