6. Seeding -,Seeding should be completed during the oontTrs oC

~. Method oC Seeding - Seeding operations where practical, should
be done across the slope. Seeding should be done with a grass
drill capable of handling the seed being supplied. Seed will
be planted at a depth of } to 3/4 loch.

9. Mulching and Anchoring - Hay mulch will be applied at a rate
of 40D0 pounds per acre. At least 50% of the hay should be
. 10 inches in length or longer when bales are open. Mulch
will be unlCormly spread over site.
Anchoring of the mulch may be done with a farm type disck
plow by setting the disk straight and applying adequate
weigtrt to crimp the mulch 4 inches into the soil.
10. Livestock Exclusion - All livestock will be excluded until
• grass is well established on the site.
