'• <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />1. Topsoil Removal - Topsoil will be removed and stockpiled <br />.prior to gravel pit operations, for .use in reclaiming the <br />pit. <br />2. Construction - All banks will be.shaped and graded to a <br />3~1 grade or flatter. <br />3. Topsoil Application - Topsoil will be applied at a 6 inch <br />depth uniformly over the site. If stockpiled soil Ss not <br />~~~~ enough provisions should be made to bring In suitable top- <br />soil to reach a 6 inch depth. <br />4. Seedbed Preparation - Seedbed shall be well settled and firm, <br />_ but friable enough to be seeded. The seedbed shall be reson- <br />ably free of reeds and trash. <br />5. Fertilizer - The area to be seeded x111 be fertilized with <br />not less than 40 or more than 50 pounds of available nitrogen <br />1N21 and available phosphorus (P205) per acre. Barnyard <br />animal manures may be used to supply all or part of the <br />necessary nutrients. Fertilizer applications shall be <br />timed so as to be applicable to the kind of fertilizer and <br />type of equipment used. <br /> <br />
