been completely graded and reclaimed. No reclamation costs have been • i
C included in fire handing calculations for this box cut area.
The above discussion has been incorporated into the narrative presented
on Pages 1Z-54 grid 12-54a.
The disturbance at the Wadge West pit, which includes Auger Area E,
consists of a final highwall to be reduced and associated spoil that has
been graded to resemble a pit that would require double highwall
reduction. At the solid waste area, existing fill material present on
bath sides of tfre site will require grading.
Tire bond estimate lras been revised to include the Wadge West pit in the
double friglrwall reduction cost section. The volume calculations
presented in Attachment 13-1 reflect these additions. Page 12-12 of Tab
12 has been revised to reflect the above discussion.
C Since the work required to reclaim the solid waste site consists of only •
grading, the costs for this area are appropriately included in the
miscellaneous grading section of the calculations. The acreage figure
in Table 13-6 has been revised to show 20.5 acres. Approximately half
of this area has been previously graded. Thus, the presented acreage
reflects a conservative estimate.
COMMENT:
C. "Left Open" Wadge Pit
Based upon the information contained in the revised permit renewal
application, it is unclear as to the disposition of the box cut and
other spoils generated during development of this pit. PCC needs
to describe the present location and condition of all spoil
material generated in this area, and clarify the plan for
completing backfilling and grading activities. The discussion
provided should include a clear description of how development of
the 4ladge east pit relates to tfre backfilling and grading plan for
the "left open" pit. .
30
