The discussion on Page 13-28 pertaining to "introduced species" <br />should be modified to reflect the current species in the various <br />seed mixtures. <br />RESPONSE: <br />The discussion on Pages 13-28 and 13-29 has been revised as requested in <br />this comment. Page 13-28a is included as a revision because of a change <br />in the length of the retyped text. Revised pages are included with this <br />submittal. <br />COMMENT: <br />B.6. Page 13-63 specifies that "Revegetation areas will be monitored in <br />conjunction with the approved monitoring program...". After <br />reviewing the remainder of the text, the Division is unable to <br />locate this approved monitoring plan. PCC should either: <br />a. Expand the text on Page 13-63 to incorporate the approved <br />monitoring program, or <br />b. [f there is no approved monitoring program, such a plan should <br />be submitted to the Division. The Division suggests that the <br />revegetation monitoring program approved for the Seneca II-W <br />Mine (Minor Revision No. 3) be implemented at this site. <br />RESPONSE: <br />The Revegetation Monitoring Program was submitted in March of this year <br />as part of the original Permit Renewal submittal package. The program <br />was detailed on Page 13-29a through 13-29c in that submittal. The <br />Seneca II-W Revegetation Monitoring Program, submitted at a later date, <br />was patterned after the Seneca II program in order to meet a stipulation <br />requirement in the Seneca II-W permit.
