D2pt. cf i!awrl ;resources <br />Enclosed are copies of the decision of the Board of County <br />Commissioners and a recommendation to the Board from the Planning <br />Commission concerning a request to operate a gravel pit west of <br />the City of Gunnison. As you are aware, we have determined that <br />an earlier decision of approval was in error, as was in my letter <br />to you of April 17, 1989, indicating compliance had been effected. <br />The proponent has revised his application to us, and the enclosed <br />decision reflects approval of only a portion of the original <br />application: Two (2) acres rather than 9.8, have been conditionally <br />approved for operation. Any additional staging or stockpiling areas, <br />or any increase in tonnage removed will constitute cause for <br />additional review by the County.
