<br />QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN <br />Employees undergo training in respect with their duties of job poaitian <br />descriptions and responsibilities. Formal training is mandatory and part of the <br />employees evaluation process to ensure personal continuing working knowledge <br />of most current methodologies and tedxiology. In-house training of new college <br />entry studentsigraduates is provided by the EAS division. Informal training is <br />almost always on-going. <br />3.0 QUALITY GOALS AND OBJECTIVES <br />The primary objective of Sangre qe Cristo laboratory, Inc., EAS Division, is to <br />improve the precision and accuracy of the laboratory's'producP. The <br />laboratorys product is defined as "tfie report issued as the result of analytical or <br />testinfl activity conducted on a sample or samples received from sartra aourca_' <br />Management, administrative, statistical, investigative, preventive, and corrective <br />techniques are among those which may be employed to maximize the quality of <br />~` the data. <br />Secondary objective which may be established in order to reach our primary <br />goals ere as follows: <br />1) To establish the level of the laboratory's routine pertormance <br />2) To make any changes in the routine me(hodology found necessary In order to <br />make it compatible with performance needs (method development) <br />3) To participate in proficiency analytical testing or quality evaluation programs <br />with peor labarataries, EPA and the Department of Health, in order to achieve <br />and maintain consistent and uniform levels of quality <br />4} To ensure that all personne{ era trained to a level OI lamiliarity with quality <br />technology appropriate to the individual's degree of responsibility <br />5y To improve and validate laboratory methodologies by participation in method <br />validation collaborative tests <br />6) To establish and report on quality cast savings <br />r` 7) To make costs affordable tc diem by offering Lrlvels 1, II, or III and contract <br />laboratory protocol (CLP) type quality control choices <br />90 ~?pd aQS L69E6656iLT 88=59 666L/EI/Z0 <br />
