M-zooo-oa9 JUN 2 6 2000 <br />1 12c Permit Application Adequacy Review Response - 2 <br />Deaz Mr. Shuey: <br />Durango Field Office <br />Divisan of Minerals 8 Geology <br />we have received your adeyuacy review comments to our response of Jane 20 and recognize the <br />need for immediate response. <br />Due to the great distances separating the owner of the project and the owner of the fences and <br />access roads along the southern perimeter of the project, we must ask for an extension of time for <br />a complete response to your comments. <br />We feel we can have documents executed and delivered to the Division by June 30, 2000 and <br />rospectfully ask therefore for an extension to that date. <br />Upon the second review of your adequacy concerns with the submission of the 112c Permit <br />Application for Louisiana Land and Cttavel Company, LLC's Angie Pit, we offer the following <br />responses: <br />ADEQUACY REVIEW COMMENTS <br />F.xhihit D -Mining Plan <br />Ijhazardous materials/petroleum products are to be stored in the truck trailer proposed <br />to be !Darted on site, then this storage trailer, or its contents will need to be stored in <br />adequate spill containment. <br />A statement is added to the mining plea to commit the operator to storing hazardous <br />materiaLt/petroleum products inside the nailer in a cabinet designed to provide primary <br />spill containment for those materials. <br />
