the extent end duration of surface disturbance. <br />After completion of each of the locations, end after the hole has been properly plugged, <br />excess cuttings will be dispersed around the drill site, and all debris will be hauled <br />from the location site to en approved public landfill dump. The Location will then be <br />revegetated, when necessary, with types of legume and grass so stated in the Exploration <br />end Reclamation Plan. <br />Measures to be taken to Prevent or Lon[rol Fire. Soil Erosion. Pollution of Surface and <br />Ground Ye[er. Pollution of Air. Damace [o Yildl ife or Livestock. Damece to other Natural <br />Resources. end Hazards to Public Reelth and Safety. <br />Each vehicle will be equipped with the necessary fire fighting equipment, that is, fire <br />extinguishers and shovels. If the area should become excessively dry, and the fire <br />potential becomes too great, the exploration work will be postponed until conditions <br />improve. <br />Soil erosion will be controlled by the following methods: use of existing roads and <br />• trails will be made to the fullest extent; should the area receive excessive moisture or <br />if excessive thew should occur, exploration operations will be halted until the area is <br />adequately dry or the ground is again frozen. <br />All [rash will be hauled to a public dump so that there will be no burning of trash in the <br />field to contribute to air pollution and fire. The motor vehicles in the Brea will be <br />required [o have mufflers to reduce the air and noise pollution. All equipment shall be <br />removed from the area promptly after completion of all phases of exploration and <br />reclamation. <br />Complete cooperation will be given to local surface owners in regard to livestock end/or <br />cultivated croplands, that is, exploration operations will be kept away or postponed from <br />any area where operations could present a potential danger to livestock operations, such <br />as the spring lambing season, or the destruction of crops. All gates will be kept closed, <br />and as was stated above, all holes will be properly plugged to prevent dangers to <br />livestock or wildlife. Field personnel will not be in possession of firearms while in the <br />area. Due caution will be used to protect any natural resource that may exist in the <br />. area. <br />5 <br />
