• and excess cuttings dispersed around the drill sites. No permanent hole markers will be <br />used during this project. ALL debris will be removed from the site and hauled to an <br />approved public landfill. <br />Due to the insignificant surface disturbance generated at each drill site, and no surface <br />disturbance generated along the geoph one arrays, no reseeding activities are believed <br />necessary. <br />Method of Plugging Bore Hole. Immediately after the completion of the bore hole location, <br />the hole will be backfilled with a bentonite or cement grout to a depth of ten feet- The <br />next seven feet will be cemented to within three feet of the surface; the remaining three <br />feet to be filled with drill cuttings or soil. Each hole will be marked with a wooden <br />stake, 2" x 3" x 2;, with a Peabody drill number of a metal tag. Upon completion of <br />drilling operations, the drill site will be graded, topsoil reel aced. and revegetated <br />according to 4.15.3(1) and (2) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal <br />Mining, es outlined in the Exploration/Reclamation Plan. Seeding end planting will be <br />conducted after drilling operations ere completed, and the area is scarified, plowed, or <br />• ripped. When necessary, any disturbed area will be seeded as practicable with temporary <br />cover until permanent vegetation is established. <br />Method of Plugging Noni[o r; Yells. After each well is no longer required for monitoring <br />purposes, the well will be backfilled from the bottom to within ten feet of the surface <br />with cement or bentonite grout. A plug will be set et the ten-foot depth, end the <br />remaining seven feet will be cemented to within three feet of the surface, with the <br />remaining three feet to be filled with drill cuttings or soil. <br />Areas of drill sites not disturbed by monitoring activities will be reclaimed, as stated <br />below, immediately following well installation. <br />Upon completion of monitoring operations, all drill sites will be graded, topsoil <br />replaced, and revegetated according to 4.15.3(1) and (2). Final seeding and planting will <br />be conducted after ell monitoring operations have finished and the areas are scarified, <br />plowed, or ripped. Yhen necessary, any disturbed area will be seeded es practicable with <br />temporary cover until permanent vegetation is established. <br />• Reclamation will be conducted contemporaneously with exploration activities to minimize <br />6 <br />
