III. OFFSITE DRAINAGE CONTRIBUTION
Most of the offsite drainage does not affect the developed •rea.
The runoff will be passed through the site as historic flow. The water-
sheds have been located on the Drainage Aspects drawing to include any
runoff tfiat will flow into the site. Therefore the peak runoff rate re-
fleets the entire drainage area. The culverts are sized to convey the
water under the access road and drain into Hunger Creek.
1V. SITE DRAINAGE
A. Watersheds A and B
Watershed B is the furthest upstream and is above the mine site.
Watershed A will combine with B's runoff before passing under the road.
Therefore, calculations have been shown for the combination of A and
B, as well as sizing of a culvert for the two watersheds. Also, each
watershed has been calculated separately should the mine site (A) need
• to be considered independently from watershed B.
B. Watersheds C, D and E
These have been considered separately since each one will drain
Independently into the tributary from watersheds A and B then into Munger
Creek. Calculations of runoff and culverts are in Drainage Calculations.
C. Watersheds F and X
Watersheds F and X have been combined since watershed X will
contribute to watershed F before crossing access road. Also each water-
shed has been calculated separately should the need arise that the runoff
from each watershed be required.
•
-`t' ~'
