-98-
MR. N. COHEN: Okay. Now, in your response to Item #24, your Response
Letter is dated February 15, 1989. Have you got that letter?
MS. BALDRIGE: Yes.
MR. N. COHEN: I guess it's page -- well, they don't have pages but...
MS. BALDRIGE Yeah, I've got it.
MR. N. COHEN: Okay. In your response to Item 24, the last sentence says
the humidity cell test will be re-run to determine if laboratory error
resulted in this anomaly. Right?
MS. BALDRIGE: That's correct.
• MR. N. COHEN: If the test takes at least 8 weeks, and this is dated
February 15th, we're still in the eight -- the first eight-week period aren't
we?
MS. BALDRIGE: That's correct, but the problem was in the week-one
sample. Not in arty of the other week samples. And, therefore, if there was
some reason to suspect that the test data was inaccurate, it would be
inaccurate in the initial humidity cell testing, because in later weeks the
test indicated a neutral pH. Week-one, the initial week of testing, has well
been completed and has indicated no problems.
MR. N. COHEN: When -- when -- when did the re-test begin?
MS. BALDRIGE: I don't have a specific date for you. I can find that out
for you, certainly. But the re-test has begun. It began shortly after this
Adequacy Letter was complete.
• MR. N. COHEN: Was the re-test taken on the same sample or ~on another
sample taken from the same area?
