•
-97-
MR. N. COHEN: The issue that I'm -- I want to ask you a few questions
about -- something that I know you've talked about quite a bit already. But,
I am confused on one point and that is the 3.01 pH results from that one
humidity cell test. As I understand the way this developed, you -- you said
that you took three samples and tested them for 8 weeks, and at the end of the
eight weeks, the result of one of those cells was a reading 3.01 pH. Is that
accurate, so far?
MS. BALDRIGE: No, that's not.
MR. N. COHEN: Okay. Correct me.
MS. BALDRIGE: Week one of one of those tests indicated a ph of 3.01.
Weeks two through eight indicated a pH of around 7.
• MR. N. COHEN: Okdy. And then your chemical expert told you to -- to
re-run the test for 12 weeks? Is that...?
MS. BALDRIGE: He indicated that the test that we had run previously for
eight weeks, which at this point was only about in week six, should be
extended out the full 12 weeks, rather than stopped at the eighifi week, just
to insure that we didn't see any change in this pH of around 7 ffDr the entire
12 weeks of the test period. And then he also indicated that a mew sample be
tested.
MR. N. COHEN: Okay. So, the proper test period for this kiind of test is
12 weeks?
MS. BALDRIGE: Between 8 and 12. It really depends on the results you
see during the first 8 weeks of testing, whether you continue it for 12 or
whether you say we see no indication of a problem, therefore, there's no need
to continue the tests for an additional 4 weeks.
