As seen from the memo, Mr. Stewart feels
that the seepage is not significant at this point in time, and
poses no immediate threat of compromising the integrity of the
settling ponds. Per Mr. Stewart's recommendation, TCC personnel
(most likely myself or Mr. Dan Wilson) will conduct weekly
inspections of the embankment and address those items noted by Mr.
Stewart. This will continue until such time as either A) a
significant change occurs, or B) weather conditions improve to the
point where repair efforts will be effective. TCC anticipates no
major changes will occur during the coming few months, and is
planning to follow Mr. Stewart's recommendation that repairs be
delayed until this coming spring or early summer.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact either
myself or Collin Stewart at your convenience.
Sincerely,
~/ Marcusi~i!
Environmental Specialist
