I.1r. J.R. Owen
-8- December 7. 1984
irn Larsen Pit - File No. M-84-189
Exhibit C
1. A map should be provided that includes both parts of the permit area.
As .I mentioned in general, the map should have exact boundaries. It should
also be of a smaller scale (larger size) than presently given, such tfcat
details can be shown.
Exhibit E
1. Please consider the possible need (as I have mentioned for previous
creek bottom pits) to do some bank revegetation as well as sloping and grading
and clarify the County's plans in this regard.
Exhibit G
1. Please provide a written source of legal right-to-enter for this
operation. This could be a signed affidavit from the Chairman of the County
Commissioners if Mr. Larsen will not sign any sort of permission statement.
I have tried to be as comprehensive as possible in my review of these
operations so as to limit our necessary correspondence. Please remember that
my general questions apply to the individual applications, even though I di,d
not generally repeat them for each individual pit, and they should be
considered for every pit to which they apply. Please call me if you have
questions. In any case, I will expect to hear from you either answering this
letter or requesting a continuance before December 13, 1984.
Sincerely,
Mark S. Loye
Senior Reclamation Specialist
MSL/mad
Doc. No. 5867
