This distance is expected to be no less than 70 feet. <br />A demonstration of the slope stability of a 2.OH: ].OV slope in a cohesionless gravel is given below: <br />Cylindrical failure occurs when the cohesive and angular frictional forces of the material are not <br />strong enough to withstand the gravity component. The most common failure of this type is circular <br />or cylindrical in nature as shown in the sketch below.
