~ ~ <br />~. • s • • <br />EXHIBIT "E" /~' ~~ <br />Reclamation Plan <br />1. The area in which the Pig Mesa Gravel Pit is located <br />is; basically waste land. There is no water rights with the <br />bind although the North Delta Canal is near by. Because of <br />this, the Plan of Reclamation consists of the following: <br />(a) Loosening any packed soil in the bottom of the pit; <br />(b) Allowing the pit bottom to revegetate itself with <br />natural vegetation; <br />(c) Dressing the slopes of the pit to a 3:1 slope <br />(d) Leveling any areas where gravel has been piled <br />and allowing natural revegetation to occur; and <br />(e) Roads will be left as access to the North Delta Canal. <br />2. In the event that it is thought to be necessary, <br />d:-y-land seed could be spread over the areas of disturbance; however, <br />the method of mining precludes saving what little top soil there <br />i:;. It is the experience of those that work in the area, that <br />n~3tural grasses grow spontaneously in the floor of the pit, pro- <br />v:_ded it is not disturbed by traffic for a substantial period of <br />t _me. <br />3.
