PUBLIC NOTICE
United Companies of Mesa County, Inc.; PO Box 3609 Grand Junction, Colorado 81502,
[phone], has filed an application far a Reclamation Permit with the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act
for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The proposed mine is known as BLM Pit #1
and is located at or near Section 35, Township 1 South, Range 1 East, Ute Meridian.
The proposed date of commencement is January 1, 2002, and the proposed date of
completion is December 31, 2012. Tlie proposed future use of the land is desert range
land.
