The Division assumes, for bond calculation purposes, that the average depth of <br />topsoil replacement will be about 15 inches. <br />The final land use for the area to be mined north of the river is wildlife habitat, with . <br />most of it being a 142 acre lake. Demonstrate that you will legally be able to expose the <br />ground water to evaporation loss. Provide evidence that a gravel pit well permit or other <br />necessary approvals have been or will be granted by the State Engineers Office prior to <br />implementation of the minins and reclamation plans. If this can not be done, provide an <br />alternative reclamation plan if possible. <br />4. In accordance with Rule 6.4.5(2)(6) provide a comparison of the proposed post-mining <br />land use to other land uses in the vicinity and to adopted state and local land use plans <br />and programs. <br />Exhibit J - Veeetation Information <br />Your information states that "there are no fully defined wetlands within the proposed <br />disturbance azeas for the project." When the Division completed the pre-operation <br />inspection it was noted that the Phase I azea appeared to have lands that could qualify as <br />jurisdictional wetlands. Provide a statement from the C.O.E. showing their <br />determination regarding the existence of wetlands in the permit area and what the Corps <br />will require of the operator in regard to your proposed mining and reclamation plans. <br />Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs <br />The Division will review the reclamation costs of your application when the changes to <br />the mining and reclamation plans that you have stated will be submitted aze available for <br />review. <br />Exhibit S -Permanent Man-Made Structures <br />Provide the distance of set back from all permanent man-made structures shown on the <br />pre-mining and mining plan map and the list of structures in this review Exhibit C, 3 a-h. <br />Provide a notarized agreement between the applicant and the persons having an interest <br />in the structures listed in your Exhibit S, that the applicant is to provide compensation <br />for any damage to the structures. Or, provide an appropriate engineering evaluation that <br />demonstrates that such structures shall not be damaged by activities occurring at the <br />mining operation.
