That report was submitted to your office with a cover letter dated January 19, 2005. This <br />addendum is being submitted to clarify an agreement made between Mr. Steve Leach (P & M <br />Coal Company) and yourself following a joint field inspection, performed on November 19, <br />2004. <br />As noted in your review of the referenced impoundment report (January 28, 2005 email), <br />minor maintenance work to check dams was agreed to during the November 19, 2004 field <br />inspection. Although the function of the check dams has been considered adequate, numerous <br />check dams require minor maintenance to restore the structures original design. The minor <br />repairs are noted in Attachment A to this letter. These repairs will be made in the 2005 season, <br />along with any other repairs identified during 2005 site inspections. <br />We appreciate your assistance in completing this addendum.
