The Corliss Sand Pit is 9.9 acres. The area of excavation will be graded and sloped as <br />as it is mined. Topsoil will be re-applied to the excavations. The slopes will be fertil¢ed <br />with fertil¢er or tx3myard manure as indicated by soils test and then seeded with a cover <br />crop. After the cover crop is established, the grass will be planted as recommended by <br />by the local Natural Resource Conservation Service. The cost units below already include <br />~bor and tuel. The cover crop, manuring, and grass seeding ccet were obtained from the <br />Natural Resource Conservation Service and have been based on Conservation Reserve <br />Program costs.
