If refuse or acid-forming or toxic producing <br />materials are exposed during mining, excavation will be <br />stopped and the materials investigated. With guidance from <br />state and local officials, the materials will be transported <br />to an approved area for disposal. <br />Item 1~. Excavation will take place above the water table <br />and away from the active river channel. The side boundary to <br />the west of the permitted area will be rip-rapped on the 3:1 <br />slope to prevent erosion and to allow for channel control <br />during times when the river flows into this area. The side <br />boundary to the east will be sloped at 3; 1. The south boundary <br />of the proposed disturbed area is 300 ft north of the south <br />property line which will allow sufficient space far the river <br />to establish its natural gradient without impacting the <br />adjoining property owners. <br />Item 1~. There will be only excavation of sand and gravel <br />on the site with n^ processing, crushing or screening on the <br />property. The material will be used for road base and/or fill. <br />If crushinq of the material is required for a specific project, <br />it will be done at that location with proper permitting and <br />controls at that site. <br />F'age 14 <br />
