Srnrmwofer Management Plan <br />EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND MONITORING REQUIREMENTS <br />Slurco Corporation will monitor the effluent parameters shown in Table 1 in order to obtain an <br />indication of the probable compliance or non-compliance with the post-mining outfall effluent <br />limitations required by the Colorado Departrnent of Health at the Reclaimed Canadian Svip <br />Mine. Table 1 summarizes the discharge limitations (maximum concenvations), and sample <br />type for these effluent parameters. The site will be monitored and sampled according to the <br />requirements of the discharge permit (Permit Number CO-G-850014) issued for the site. <br />Discharge of stormwater is however unlikely at the site. <br />REPORTING <br />Monitoring results obtained by Slurco Corporation for the Reclaimed Canadian Strip Mine <br />during the previous 3 months will be summarized and reported on Colorado Department of <br />Health approved discharge monitoring report forms, attached here in the Appendix I. Slurco <br />Corporation will submit its quarterly reports by April 28, July 28, October 28 and January 28 <br />for the previous, respective quarter. If no discharge occurs during the reporting period, "No <br />Discharge" will be reported. <br />Slurco Corporation will submit its discharge monitoring reports to the agencies listed here: <br />Colorado Department of Health <br />Water Qualiry Control Division <br />Permits and Enforcement Section <br />4300 Cherry Creek Drive South <br />Denver, Colorado 80220 <br />U.S. Environmental Protection Agency <br />Water Management Division <br />NPDES Branch 8WM-C <br />999 18th Sveet, Suite 500 <br />Denver, Colorado 80202-2466 <br />Slurco Corporation will also continue to provide the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology <br />a copy of water quality monitoring reports under its existing NPDES Permit. <br />SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY <br />Slurco Corporation will use analysis and sampling methods conforming to Colorado Regulations <br />for Effluent Limitations (10.1.5) and to 40 CFR Pan 136. <br />R 1 091/7/02-0695(I'35pm) 4 <br />
