This category includes all mined lands and mining related disturbances which <br />• have been redaimed within the New Horizon Mine permit area. Included are lands reclaimed both <br />prior to and after May 3, 1978. <br />Mining Related Dislurbanoes. Unredaimed. Included in this category are all areas of disturbance <br />within the permit area requiring final reclamation. Final reclamation activities will vary from area to <br />area but will include some or all of the following: backfilling, grading, topsoiling and seeding. <br />Urxfisturbed Native RangelarxUWldlife Habitat These areas have not been affected by mining or <br />intensive agricultural activities. The mine control boundary and permit area fences exdude livestock <br />and thus wildlife are the only animals that make use of these areas at this time. <br />New Horizon 2 Mine F~ansion Pemtit and Study Area. The preceding land use discussion, v~ith <br />the exception of those portions applicable to the reclaimed New Horizon 1 Mine northwest of the <br />New Horizon 2 expansion area, also pertains to the proposed expansion permit area as well as a <br />larger study area. The study area is the same as that contained within the Baseline Vegetation <br />study area as presented in Section 2.04.10 and shown on Map 2.04.10-1.
