Conhibuton C:NLRB 112 PernJt Application
Ag1Ie Stone Syetettu. Inc.
See the response to question 3. The answer is the same.
17. Please provide the Division a copy of your approved Stormwater Management
Plan required as part of your Stormwater Discharge Permit.
See Exhibit D. All aspects of the Stormwater Management Plan have been
included within this application. The Stormwater Management Plan as par
of our Stormwater Discharge Permit is enclosed in the Supplementary Data
for informational purposes only.
18. You have stated that "portions of the constructed roads will be maintained and left
in place following mining to provide access within the ranch." Provide detailed
information regazding what road portions will remain and what portions will be
reclaimed upon the completion of mining.
The exact details of the temporary and permanent roads are provided in
Exhibit D. Likewise and such roads are appropriately shown in the Mining
Base Map and Final Reclamation Map.
19. Please provide plans for wnstruaion of the rail lines. Of particulaz interest to the
Division is the source and type of material required for construction grade fills
and typical cross sections of the fills. Please also provide information regazding
any cuts that are necessary for construction of the rail lines dimensions, slopes,
etc.
Construction plans of the rail lines are shown in the engineered drawing of
the track cross section. The material used for construction grade fills will
follow regular railroad construction practice of using locally available
material. The gravel as it exists will be used for grade fills. Track will be
built to use any cut material into such fill areas. Minus 2" crushed rock
produced from the plant will be used as ballast after operations begin. This
rock will be placed on top and to the sides of the ties. Since the permit area is
essentially flat and railroads can not tolerate steep grades, there are no
railroad slopes to be shown. The track cross section in the engineered design
shows the track and roadbed dimensions. The Mining Base Map shows the
linear length of each track area.
20. Your plan states that "process water will be pumped from a well to be located in
the process plant area." Do you have a permit from the Division of Water
Resources for this well? You will need to demonstrate to the Division that you
have a legal right to adequate water resources for your proposal mining operation.
