This would include areas [hat have only been brushed. <br />Pacility Reclamation <br />The following facilities, buildings, structures, and miscellaneous support items would <br />have to be demolished, disposed, and the area reclaimed if mining operations were to cease <br />in the year 2003. The following discusses the reclamation of these structures. The <br />attached worksheets and tables show the pertinent volume and area cal culacions. <br />Structure Demolition. This estimate assumes that all structures within [he Seneca II-W <br />Mine area would have to he demolished and mateciale disposed. It also assumes that no <br />salvage value be attached to any of the structures. Means Site Work 6 Landscape Cost Data <br />- 1998 was used to estimate these coats. Volume determinations were made from existing <br />maps and/or Eield measured. The cost per cubic foot includes disposal. Most costs, <br />except where noted, were based on a mixture of construction materials. All material is <br />• hauled to an open pit. All information regarding structure volumes and costs can be found <br />on appropriate worksheets in Attachment 25-1. <br />Powerlines. Powerline demolition was based on information puhli shed in Means. Powerline <br />lengths were taken from Exhibits 12-2 and 12-3 and field surveys where needed. Total <br />length of line that traverees [he permit area is 18,200 feet. An additional 5200 fee[ of <br />line from the edge of the permit area to the main Powerline will also be removed. Please <br />see the appropriate worksheets in Attachment 25-1. <br />Facility Areas. After the buildings are demolished and disposed, the site is reclaimed. <br />The top one foot of gravel/scoria surfacing on the parking/storage areas will be ripped <br />with a dozer and then picked up and hauled to the pit area where it will be topsoiled and <br />seeded. Concrete foundation areas will be hauled to an open pit for disposal. The entire <br />parking area will be ripped to a depth of three feet. Approximately one foot of topsoil <br />fc-om [he topsoil stockpiles will then be hauled by scraper to [he ripped parking area. <br /> Miscellaneous Utilities. Underground utility reclamation, including phone lines, water <br /> <br />. lines, and powerl fines, will be abandoned in place. <br />5 Revised 3/01 <br />
