<br />PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />APRIL 3, 1990 <br />PAGE 14 <br />ITEM P. <br />REQUE:~T: <br />VRP 96-2 KNOX X SUBDIVISION (MINOR SUBDIVISION) <br />Mr. Giordano stated that High Country Surveyors has requested the <br />Commission to table this item until May 1, 1990, for time to <br />obtair.~ adequate proof of water. <br />MOTION <br />Mr. Doxtater made a motion to table this item until the May 1, <br />1990, Planning Commission meeting. <br />SECOND <br />Mr. Ve:rlengia seconded the motion and upon vote the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />ITEM 9~ <br />REQUEST: <br />CUP 90-5 FREMONT COUNTY QUAGMIRE CREEK PIT <br />Mr. Giordano stated that this was a request for approval of a ten <br />year conditional use permit, for a gravel pit for Fremont County <br />for property owned by the Bureau of Land Management located <br />approximately 12 miles North of Cotopaxi on the west side of <br />County Road 12. The property contains approximately 2.73 acres <br />and is zoned Agricultural & Other Uses. <br />Mr. Giordano stated that the area had been previously disturbed. <br />Mr. Giordano said that the County doesn't know how much gravel is <br />in the: area, but that it would probably run out in two or three <br />years. The conditional use permit is being requested for a ten <br />year germ just in case there is more then anticipated. <br />MOTION <br />Mr. Doxtater made a motion to approve CUP 90-5 with the following <br />conditions: <br />1. notification, by certified mail, return receipt requested, <br />t:o all property owners within 500 ft. of the Conditional Use <br />F~ermit boundaries thirty (30) days prior to the public <br />Yiearing by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />2. Conditional Use Permit be issued for a ten (10) year term. <br />3. Review of the permit yearly to determine compliance with the <br />
