ABSTRACT
Commercial Testing and Engineering, Co: (CT&E) conducted a two species acute bioassay on
the West Fork of Sylvester Gulch ei~luent discharge. This discharge has been designated as
outfall 017. The purpose of this bioassay was to determine if the facility complies with the WET
portion of the Colorado State Permit System Authorization to Discharge. The test organisms
utilized were the fathead minnow (Pimeplhales promelas) and the daphnid (Daphnia magna).
Test results indicate that the effluent was not acutely tonic to either species.
