Page 2
Two more ventilation holes will be required for the
• mine with additional power lines being required. These
intake ventilation holes will be utilized in conjunction
with breakthroughs to contiguous mines for air quality
control. These vent hole locations are shown on the
development map.
EY~om exploration drilling and a knowledge of what the
mines of the general area have encountered in the past, no
water problem is expected. If any amount of water is en-
countered, it will be pumped to the main sump, clarified
and re-used in drilling.
The surface plant consists of a shop building, a com-
pressor building, an. electrical substation, a mine waste
dump, along with"a haulage road, ore storage pad, and an
• equipment and supply storage area. These Facilities are
located adjacent to the mine portal and will not disturb
more than 5 to 6 acres of surface.
The time required to complete the development is shown
on the development map. Eaough development will be done_so
that stoping can commence and then both stoping and develop-
ment will be conducted simultaneously. M;n{ ~ will be at
the rate of 150 tons per day on a 250 day-pear. This will
enable the mine to operate approximately 15 years at this
rate. But due to the erratic nature of the Uravan Mineral
Belt's ore deposits and past mining experience in the area,
the life of this mine may be extended. This extension will
. be due in part to further delineating ore horizons by surface
drilling and underground longhole drilling from development
headings.
