The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by <br />the Lond Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit <br />• for Cotter Corporation <br />C-LP-21 (Long Park) - <br />The Colorado Division of Wildlife does hereby find, to the best of our <br />knowledge, that the impact of the proposed mining operation on wildlife <br />will be <br />X minor <br />r moderate <br />mayor <br />Mine Location: T. 47 N., R. 17 W., N. E. ~, S. W. ~, Section 27 <br />Wildlife Species List: (may be attached) Key species impacted will be <br />deer. Mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, badgers, eagles, cottontail rabbits, <br />small mammals and birds inhabit the area. <br />Endangered Species Impacted: None that are known. <br />Assessment of Impact on Wildlife: (may he attached) There has been impact <br />• due to human activity over the past several years. Deer use it as winter range. <br />Road construction {exploration and service roads) will cause the loss of habitat <br />and forage. <br /> <br />Mine Reclamation Recommendations: (may 6e attached) I recommend closure of <br />exploration and unused service roads and revegetated with native vegetation. <br />Develop water for wildlife where possible and revegetate portal and drill sites with <br />native vegetation. <br />.
