<br />EXHIBIT E. - RECLAMATION PLAN <br /> <br />1. Upon completion of grading and leveling slopes <br />to 2 to 1 or less. Topsoil/overburden and/or <br />scoria fines will be placed to a depth of from <br />6" - 10" across the 85 acres of major disturb- <br />ance. <br />2. After completion of replacement of topsoil/ <br />overburden and or scoria fines, a reseeding <br />and fertilizing program will take place. <br />3. Reclamation will take place as follows: <br />(a.) High walls will be taken down to a <br />2 to 1 slope or less with bulldozers <br />and loaders. <br />(b.) Leveling and replacing of topsoil/ <br />overburden and or scoria fines with <br />loaders and scrapers. <br />(c.) Reseeding and fertilizing with natural <br />plant cover will take place. <br />4. The land around the affected area (1 to 1.5 mile <br />radius) is basically the same soil type and <br />vegatation as the affected area. The land <br />is used for rangeland and wildlife. <br />The proposed postmining land use will be <br />rangeland and wildlife. <br />5. Status of existing and postmining roads. <br />There is only one permanent haul road into <br />and out of the affected area. The permanent <br />road was there prior to Colorado Aggregate <br />Co. acquisition and will be left as an access <br />road upon completion of mining. <br />
