Slopes should be disced parallel to the slope base to <br /> minimize erosion problems. <br /> 2. The seed mix should include grasses other than the <br /> various wheatgrasses, Blue Grama, Sand Dropseed and Side- <br /> Oast Grama could be added to replace Wild Rye and <br /> Pubescent Wheatgrass. <br /> 3. A soil test will need to be done to determine if soil <br /> amendments need to be added. <br /> 4. After each sector is filled, it should be reclaimed. <br /> 5. How will planting the grass mix reduce the stockpiles <br /> and overburden materials? These should be removed before <br /> seeding. <br /> 6. It should be understood that reclamation of this mine <br /> is the responsibility of the permit holder and that the <br /> bond cannot be released until all of the reclamation is <br /> completed. <br /> E) Exhibit F - Reclamation Plan Map <br /> 1. The reclamation plan needs to be more specific. <br /> 2. If ponds are to be left, how large will they be. <br /> F) Exhibit G - Water Information <br /> 1 . There are too many if's in this section also. We <br /> need to see some definite plans as to what the future <br /> reclamation goals are. <br /> G) Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs <br /> 1 . Surety ,Bond for reclamation is determined by the Mined <br /> Land Reclamation Board and is normally equal to the total <br /> expected reclamation costs for each regular operation. <br /> 2. Expected reclamation costs may need to be refigured <br /> for the filled pond areas, <br /> H) Exhibit N - Other Permits or Licenses <br /> 1 .
