• presented by the Mine Area Prenvnutg and Postmining Cross-Sections Map, (Map ~, <br />Mine Area Postmining Topography Map, (Map 28), and Loadout Area Postnuning <br />Topography Map, (Map 29). <br />EFCI will remove any equipment, structures or other facilities that aze not approved <br />for retention to support the postmuting land use at the conclusion of mining activities <br />and will reclaim all disturbed lands. All salvageable equipment and buildings will be <br />sold, dismantled, and removed from the permit azea. Any non-salvageable materials <br />will be placed in designated disposal srtes and covered by a minimum of four (4) feet <br />of suitable material. Likewise, all powerlines and power-poles not planned to be <br />permanent facilities will be removed and salvaged at the conclusion of muting <br />activities. Restoration and reclamation of all roads is discussed under Section 4.03, <br />Roads. The railroad line at the Southfield Loadout is owned and operated by the AT <br />&SF Railroad Company. In this regazd, reclamation of the Southfield ]oadout <br />contemplates leaving the railroad spur aFter permanent cessation of operations. <br />Once the structures and facilities aze removed, disturbed aeeas may require upping or <br />• scarifying to alleviate compaction. Any gravel or surfaang materials, such as asphalt <br />will be removed and disposed of in the backfill azea neaz the existing portals, the Pond <br />1 basin azea, or in an approved off-site landfill. Assouated disturbance aeeas will be <br />regraded and re-contoured as necessary to assure long-term stability and blend with <br />surrounding undisturbed terrain. Regraded surfaces will be covered with topsoil as <br />fully described in Sections 2.05.4, Reclamation Plan, and 4.0G, Topsoil. Mine and <br />]oadout disturbance areas will then be seeded with the seed mixtures outlined by Table <br />33, Proposed Temporary and Permanent Seed Mixtures and Seeding Rates. <br />Revegetarion success of the reclauned aeeas will be monitored and evaluated in <br />accordance with the revegetation success criteria described in Sections 2.05.4, <br />Reclamation Plan, and 4.15, Revegetation. <br />• <br />Minor Revision MR~I 4.30-2 Revised December 2001 <br />
