Please respond on a point-by-point basis in the
order given below.
Project Overview
Your statement that permission must be obtained to reproduce this
.•' application cannot be honored as this document shall become a matter of
public record, unless you wish to withdraw the application. Unly
information per Rule 2.1I.(4)(i) and Rule 2.1218) may be marked
confidential.
Exhibit C - Pre-Mining and Mininy Plan Maps
1. These maps should clearly delineate the permit boundary and total
acreages per Rule 2.12(3)(d).
2. All immediately ad;iacent landowners must be shown on one of these
snaps (Rule 2.12(3)(a)).
Exhibit D - Mining Plan
1. If each of the blocks to be mined equals approx. 20 acres, with an
additional 18 acres to be affected for the plant site, roads, etc.,
then: (2U x 15) + 18 = 318 acres, not 305 as given in the application.
2. The application is not consistent pertaining thickness of the
resource and depths to be mined. Perhaps some general statements
regarding maximums/minimums would be more informative.
DEPARTMENT OF NAT
iii iiiiiiiiiiiii iii
D Monde Pascoe.
