• 2.10 <br />(1)(g) There are no boundaries of any National Natural <br />Landmarks, Designated Natural Areas or public parks <br />within the permit or adjacent areas. The King Mine site <br />has two structures that may be eligible for listing. <br />They are the power plant and the old mine hoist house. <br />The town site of Bowie has four structures that may be <br />eligible for listing. They are the mine office, Bowie <br />house garage and two mine garages. The eligible <br />structures are shown on maps in the Cultural Resources <br />inventory Report presented in Volume III, Exhibit 2. <br />One prehistoric site was identified within the permit <br />area. It is identified as site SDT1050. This site is a <br />small prehistoric open lithic scatter located on a <br />pinyon-juniper wooded ridge spine at elevation 6080. The <br />site overlooks a deeply cut drainage that contains the <br />powder house for the old King Mine. The site was field <br />evaluated as not eligible. The site is shown on maps in <br />the Cultural Resources Inventory Report presented in <br />Volume III, Exhibit 2. <br />• (1)(h) There are no known private cemeteries or Indian burial <br />grounds located in, or within 300 feet, of the proposed <br />permit area. <br />(1)(i) There are no known lands within the proposed permit area <br />and adjacent area which are within the boundaries of any <br />units of the National System of Trails or Wild and Scenic <br />River System, including study rivers designated under <br />Section (5)(a) of the Wild and Scenic River Act. <br />(1)(j) The existing topography within the area to be affected <br />during the estimated life of the operation and adjacent <br />lands is shown on two maps. The existing topography of <br />the facilities area is shown on the Premining Topography <br />Map No. 17. The existing topography of the permit and <br />adjacent area is presented on numerous 1"=2000' scale <br />maps in the permit application, one of which is the <br />Surface Ownership Map No. 1. <br />• P6PMIT 1WPLIC11TI09 1 . 10 ~ 3 <br />
