<br />A. TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />1. Effluent Limitations <br />PART I <br />Page la of 19 <br />Permit No. CO-0026981 <br />Beginning immediately and lasting through December 31, 1988, the <br />permittee is authorized to discharge from outfall(s) serial number(s): <br />001, 002, 003, 004 and 005 the outfalls which are prior to mixing with <br />Canyon Creek, as shown in figure 3. <br />In accordance with the Water Quality Control Commission Regulations for <br />Effluent Limitations, Section 10.1.3, and State Discharge Permit System <br />Regulations, Section 6.9.2, 5 C.C.R. 1002-2, the permitted discharge <br />shall not contain effluent parameter concentrations which exceed the <br />following limitations, discharge more than the mass pollutant loadings <br />specified below or exceed the specified flow limitation. <br />Effluent Parameter Discharge Limitations <br />30-Day Avg a/ Daily Max c/ <br />Flow, MGD* 6.64 N/A <br />Total Suspended Solids, mg/1 20 30 <br />Total Cadmium, mgJl** 0.05 0.10 <br />Total Copper, mg/1** 0.15 0.30 <br />Total Lead, mg/1** 0.30 0.60 <br />Total Mercury, mg/1 0.001 0.002 <br />Total Zinc, mg/1** 0.50 1.0 <br />Total Dissolved Solids, mg/1 N/A Report <br />Total Cyanide, mg/1 N/A Report <br />pH - standard units shall remain between 6.5 and 9.0 c/. <br />Oil and Grease shall not exceed 10 mg/1 i n any grab sample nor shal l there be a <br />visible sheen c/. If a visible sheen or floating oil is observed, corrective <br />action shall be taken immediately. There shall be no discharge of floating <br />solids. <br />* The 30-day average flow limitation is applicable for discharge point 001, but <br />not for discharge points 002, 003, 004 and 005. This flow limitation is <br />based on the assumption that the major source of discharge is from 001.
