Banks and Gesso, LLC <br />sandy loam (A), 4 to 19 inches of gravelly sandy loam (E), 19 to 25 inches of loam (E/B), <br />25 to 33 inches of loam (Bt), and 33 to 36 inches of weathered bedrock (Cr) (USDA, <br />NRCS). <br />Ohman-Legault very gravelly sandy loams are found in small pockets in the northern and <br />eastern portions of the site. These soils appear on 30 to 60 percent slopes at elevations <br />of 7,800 to 9,800 feet. They are well drained with moderately rapid permeability of 2.0 to <br />6.0 inches per hour. Available water capacity is about 1.7 inches, very low, and shrink- <br />swell potential is also low at about 1.5 percent. Runoff class is medium. Potential native <br />vegetation includes dwarf blueberry, elk sedge, common juniper, and lupine. Atypical <br />profile consists of 0 to 2 inches of slightly decomposed plant material (Oi), 2 to 5 inches <br />of very gravelly sandy loam (A), 5 to 13 inches of very gravelly sandy loam (E), 13 to 21 <br />inches of very gravelly sandy loam (E and Bt1), 21 to 35 inches of extremely gravelly <br />sandy loam (E and Bt2), and 35 to 39 inches of weathered bedrock (Cr) (USDA, NRCS). <br />Clear Creek District Water Providers.
